About BloomHouse Studios
BloomHouse is a creative arts studio for kids in the Fountain Inn and Simpsonville area, and it is exactly as fun as it sounds. We are more than art classes. We are a place where kids get to paint on walls, dig their hands into clay, follow their curiosity, and make a gloriously beautiful mess. No templates. No "make it look like mine." Just real creative freedom, every single visit.
I’m the founder of BloomHouse, a mom of eleven, and a preschool teacher, born and raised in the Lowcountry of South Carolina before moving to Simpsonville in 2022. BloomHouse began from both my classroom experience and my life at home, where creativity, curiosity, and a whole lot of mess were part of our everyday rhythm.
After implementing sensory play and process art with my students and my own children, including some with sensory processing challenges, I saw just how powerful this kind of hands-on, creative experience is. But I also realized how difficult it can be to create space for it at home, and how little was available in our community for children to explore art freely in a meaningful, low-pressure way.
We are building a community of families in the Upstate who believe kids learn best when they are having the time of their lives.
At BloomHouse, our space is calm, vibrant, and intentional. In a world filled with screens and constant noise, we believe it’s more important than ever to offer children opportunities to use their hands, imagination, and senses freely, creating, exploring, and experiencing the kind of childhood that nurtures creativity, confidence, and joy.
